End of the Year Traditions

So, I have just gotten back from my best friend’s end-of-school party. Actually, it was more like a get together since there were only seven of us, but it was still tons of fun. We hung out on the beach, ate home-made hamburgers (her dad is seriously the BEST cook/griller for someone who is not in the food profession), played one of my favorite games ( catchphrase), shagged (that’s a dance!), and ended the evening with a bonfire.

As the purpose of the party, the bonfire was what we were all looking forward to. We brought all our old school papers, grades we didn’t like, notes and more and burned them, symbolizing ( as one of the guys said), ” Everything our high school education has ever done for us, and ever will do.”

All in all, I think it was a great way to end the year.
